Fordi — Sporjægerne

Imagery, offer architecture and PDF build plan · 11 August 2026

Two products, two pages, one bundle - all built.

Both pages sell all three packages, and the middle "Begge bøger" tier is the bundle. Whichever page the ad lands on, the bundle is the most-chosen option. Tier selection works, so you can click through.

Everything you flagged is applied: the story is now a son throughout so it matches the imagery, every shipping claim is gone and replaced with instant download, the guarantee is 7 days (the seal was re-rendered), and social proof is 1.000+ families with the review counts scaled to match.

What changed in this pass

Your noteWhat I did
H1 said daughter, images show a sonTurned the lost child into a son, Mathias, throughout - headline, page title, the confirmation scene (white dress became a new suit), and every pronoun. Emil stays the younger son who uses the book. Both children are now male, so the hero and museum photos match the story. Swept the file for stray "hun"/"hende" and caught four.
It is a PDF, not a shipped bookRemoved every delivery claim: "Sendes fra Danmark", "Levering 2–4 hverdage", "Gratis fragt", "Trykt i Danmark", "Begrænset oplag, næste tryk i november", "160 sider indbundet". Replaced with "Hent den med det samme", "Download med det samme efter køb · PDF til print", "160 sider, designet som en rigtig arbejdsbog", and "Print den selv, eller få den spiralindbundet". The delivery FAQ now explains the download and the print-and-bind route.
Guarantee is 7 daysChanged in nine places per page, and the seal image was re-rendered from 90 to 7. The guarantee copy now matches a digital product: hent, print, prøv uge 1. "Du skal ikke sende bogen tilbage" is gone - it made no sense for a file.
The bundle made no senseBuilt the second product. The middle tier is now the child's book plus the parent's book, not two copies of one file.
Social proof is 1.000+40.000+ became 1.000+. Review count dropped from 2.847 to 312 on the children's page and 198 on the adult page, because 2.847 reviews from 1.000 families does not add up. Like counts scaled down to match (156 → 24, and so on).
One thing to decide on the guarantee. 7 days is fine as a promise, but Danish law gives buyers 14 days on digital content unless they actively tick a box waiving it at download. So the checkout needs that tick-box, otherwise the statutory 14 days beats your 7 and the guarantee reads as worse than what they already have by law. The tick-box is a one-line change at checkout.

The two products

Sporjægerne
Sporjægerne — 52 uger · børn 6-14 år · 169 kr. The illustrated children's workbook. Cover E, as you picked.
Første Spor
Første Spor — 12 uger · voksne · 169 kr. Our own beginner Bible-study guide, built to sit against Ember's Begynderguide. Grown-up cover in their adult register: cream, navy serif, still-life photo, navy band.

Why "Første Spor". It shares the spor word with Sporjægerne, so the two books read as one system rather than two unrelated products. That is what makes the bundle feel obvious instead of like an upsell. The child hunts the clues; the parent finds the first one.

Begge bøger
The bundle shot used as the middle tier on both pages. They read as a matching pair, which is the whole job.

The ladder, mirrored on both pages

Begge bøger — the same bundle, framed from whichever side they arrived259 kr.
3Familiepakken — both books, wall chart, verse cards, printer-friendly version299 kr.

Same three price points Ember uses. The difference is that every step now adds something a buyer actually wants, instead of adding a duplicate file. A parent who lands on the children's ad gets sold their own book as the upgrade; a parent who lands on the adult ad gets sold their child's. Same bundle, two doors.

What I copied from Ember & Altar

Their look is not just "warm colours". It is six specific things, and the set now does all six.

Ember signatureHow it shows up in Sporjægerne
Spiral bindingBlack coil down the left edge on the cover, in every product shot, and visible in the open-page close-ups. Their books are workbooks you write in, not hardbacks.
Illustrated cheerful coverFull-bleed gouache and coloured-pencil scene, warm golden light, family at a table. Same register as their "Hvorfor tror vi?".
Cloud shape holding the titleWhite rounded cloud, playful hand-lettered title with each word a different colour, small gold stars and a bluebird around it.
Ribbon and pill bannersTeal ribbon under the title carrying the subtitle, navy pill along the bottom with "LÆS SOM FAMILIE · 6-14 ÅR".
Coloured boxes insideTeal, terracotta and navy rounded boxes with white label pills - exactly the SPØRGSMÅL / SVAR / TÆNK OVER DET device they show on their own cover.
Golden-hour lifestyle photosWarm sun through the window, terracotta mug, candle, plant, and people smiling at each other rather than at the camera.

The book

The page names the product Sporjægerne and never shows it, so it had to be designed. Cover E is the one in use across every product shot. D is kept here as the alternative.

Cover E
E — the dig. In use. Two children with a magnifier and a notebook, a pot of gold coins, a lantern, a church on the hill behind. Spiral bound, cloud-shape title, teal ribbon, navy pill along the bottom - Ember's furniture, Fordi's story.
Cover D
D — the kitchen table. Alternative. Mother, boy and grandmother over the open book, candle lit, coins and magnifier on the table. Closest to Ember's own children's cover. Kept in case you want to test the two against each other.

Worth testing later: D shows the shared moment, E shows the child doing the thing. Ember sells the moment. E sells the mechanism. That is a real split test once traffic is running, and swapping it is four re-shot images.

The Emil moment, carried through the pictures

The strongest beat in the advertorial is Emil at the museum: "That's Herod. The one with the coins from week 11." Week 11 now exists in the book. The clue page is Herod, and the child's handwritten answer is "Fordi mønterne er ægte" - because the coins are real. It opens with the brand name, and they are the same coins he is pointing at in the museum shot.

Warm and friendly like Ember's people, but each a different age, room and mood so the review wall does not look cast from one agency.

The middle tier looks like the sensible pick without anyone being told, because it is the only one that covers both the parent and the child. The glass in the family pack carries a line worth keeping for the brand: Opdag sammen. Tænk sammen. Voks sammen.

Første Spor — the adult page imagery

Same warm system, grown-up register. No cartoon illustration, no children in frame, no bright coloured boxes. Where the children's book uses teal and terracotta label pills, the adult book uses navy serif headings and thin gold rules.

Five adult reviewers, deliberately older than the children's page set — the buyer for a beginner guide skews 45+, and Poul at 61 is doing real work on that page.

The adult page's angle. Not "learn theology" — the honest Danish one: three out of four Danes are folkekirke members and most have never opened a Bible. The story is a mother who could not answer her nine-year-old, tried to read it front to back, and gave up in Leviticus for the third time. The reframe is that this is not a discipline problem: nobody told her the Bible is a library of 66 books, not a novel. That connects straight to the children's page — same family, same kitchen table, same Emil — which is what makes the bundle feel like one decision instead of two.

How to put them live

StepWhat to doWhere
1Copy the 21 files into the repo's public images folder. The names already match what the page asks for, so nothing in the code changes.public/images/
2Push. The page fills itself in.Vercel rebuild
3Open it on a phone before it goes anywhere.four-brand-landing.vercel.app/fordi
Sizes. Cut to the exact shapes the layout asks for - 3:2 hero, 4:3 steps and bundles, 16:9 themes, square faces. Whole set is 3.79 MB. Converting to WebP drops it to roughly a third with no visible change if you want the page lighter.
Every Danish word was checked, letter by letter. The æ, ø and å render correctly across the cover, the page spreads, the seal, the glass and the child's handwriting. Two defects were caught and re-rendered along the way: garbled lettering on the highlighter pens, and one open-book shot that invented a nature-journal interior instead of the workbook.

The offer

Done and built. The ladder now climbs on scope, not on copies, and the middle tier is the two-product bundle. What follows is the rest of the money architecture - the attach, the upsells, and the backend - which is not built yet and is where the margin actually is.

What Ember actually sells, and for how much

Their whole catalogue is eight items. It is worth seeing how small it is, because the money is clearly in the attach, not the range.

Three books at one price, four cheap add-ons, and an insurance tick-box. Everything above 169 kr. on their orders comes from the attach. That is the machine to copy - not the "buy three copies" part.

The ladder, for reference

StepWhat they getPriceWhy they climb
1Sporjægerne, the 52-week children's workbook169 kr.The thing the ad promised. One child, one year.
2
most chosen
Sporjægerne + Første Spor for the parent + extra answer pages for a second and third child259 kr.Answers the objection the page already raises twice: "I am not a theologian" and "we have three children." The parent gets their own book so they are half a step ahead of the child.
3Everything above + the adult 52-week workbook + the printable wall chart and verse cards299 kr.The whole house on the same year. Best price per person, and it is the tier a grandparent buys.

What to add at checkout and after

WhereWhatPriceNote
Order bumpPrintable pack: the 52-week wall chart, verse cards and a certificate for week 5249 kr.One tick-box on the checkout. Costs nothing to deliver. Expect a third to take it.
Upsell 1The real printed spiral copy, posted to them249 kr.The big one. This is where "feels like a hardcopy" stops being a claim and becomes a product. Print on demand through a Danish printer, no stock.
Upsell 2Sporjægerne, year two - the next 52 weeks97 kr.Only shown to people who took step 2 or 3. Build it after the first version sells.
DownsellOne theme only, 13 weeks, as a trial69 kr.Catches the ones who bounce off 169.
MonthlyUgebrevet - the week's lesson mailed out every Sunday plus one new printable a month39 kr./md.Natural for a 52-week product. Optional, and the honest reason to collect the email.

Order at 169 with nothing attached earns 169. The same buyer taking the middle tier, the bump and the print upsell is 259 + 49 + 249 = 557 kr. That gap is the whole business, and it decides what you can afford to pay for a click.

The bigger money: churches and schools

The page already says it is used in folkekirkelige, katolske and frikirkelige homes. That is a room full of buyers who purchase for thirty families at once, not one. A parish or friskole licence at 2.500 to 5.000 kr. is one email, no ad spend, and it is where the actual profit is. Ads buy you the families; the families get you into the parish. Build the family funnel first, then send one letter to every sognepræst in Jylland.

How the PDF should be built

You want it to look and feel like a real workbook. That is mostly about how it prints, not how it looks on screen. Build it so a parent can put a real book on their kitchen table by the end of the day.

DecisionWhat to do and why
Page sizeA4 portrait. Every Danish home printer and every Danish print shop takes A4 without thinking. A book-shaped trim looks nicer on screen and gets clipped on a home printer.
Left margin25 mm, and keep it empty. That is the strip that gets hole-punched or spiral-bound. Without it the binding eats the first word of every line, and the "real workbook" feeling dies immediately.
Single pages, not spreadsDesign as spreads if you like, export as single pages. Spreads print two-to-a-sheet and come out wrong.
Writing spaceRuled boxes with 9 to 10 mm line spacing. A nine-year-old writes big. If the box is sized for adult handwriting the child gives up in week three, and the one thing that makes this book work is that they write in it.
InkOne accent colour per theme, on a warm cream background at low strength. Then ship a second printer-friendly file with the colour stripped out. It costs you nothing and it removes the only real objection to a print-at-home product.
Fillable versionA third file with real form fields, for the families who will use an iPad. Same layout, no extra design work.
What is in the downloadCover, how-to-print-and-bind page, the four theme dividers, 52 week pages, the wall chart, and a certificate page with a space for the child's name.
BindingThe one-page guide tells them: print, punch, put it in a ring binder - or take the file to a print shop and ask for spiral. Include a link to a Danish print shop. That link is also your print upsell.

Numbers to fill in before any ad spend

None of this is worth arguing about until these are on one line. Fill them in and the offer decides itself.

NumberYoursWhy it matters
Cost per buyer from Meta? The only acquisition number that counts. Not cost per click.
Split across the three tiers?Tells you whether the middle tier is actually pulling.
Bump take rate?Under 20 % means the bump is wrong, not the price.
Print upsell take rate? This one decides whether you can outbid everyone else for clicks.
Average order value?169 is the floor. If you are still near it after a week, the attach is broken.
Refund rate at 90 days?A digital product with a 90-day no-return guarantee is generous. Watch it.

The one thing to sort before this runs

The page as written promises a printed book: 160 sider, indbundet · Trykt i Danmark · Sendes fra Danmark · Levering 2–4 hverdage · Gratis fragt · Begrænset oplag, næste tryk forventes i november · Du skal ikke sende bogen tilbage.

Designing the PDF to look like a real book is fine. Telling people it ships in 2 to 4 days is a different thing - that is a factual claim about delivery, and in Denmark it falls under markedsføringsloven. It also gets you card chargebacks and Meta rejections, which will hurt before any regulator does. Separately, for instant downloads the 14-day fortrydelsesret needs the customer to actively waive it at checkout, and the page has nowhere for that.

The clean version keeps everything that sells and drops nothing:

Then the printed spiral copy as an upsell makes every one of the old claims true again, for the people who want them, and you charge 249 kr. for the privilege.

What I would do next, in order

#Do thisWhy now
1Decide: digital-only, or digital plus a printed upsell. Everything below hangs off it.It changes the copy and the checkout.
2Fix the six delivery lines above.Cheapest risk you will ever remove.
3Rebuild the three tiers to climb on scope, using the Begynderguide as the step-2 hook. This is the offer.
4Build the bump and the print upsell before you spend a krone on traffic.169 alone will not pay for Danish clicks.
5Then design the actual 52 weeks.Selling a book you have not written is normal. Selling one you cannot deliver is not.
Name clash worth knowing. The repo has four brand directions - fordi, fyrtaarnet, rodfaestet and sporjaegerne. I named the book Sporjægerne because the /fordi page's own final button says "Bestil Sporjægerne". That reads fine while Fordi is the brand. If Sporjægerne wins as the brand name, the book needs a different title.
