FORDI — IMAGERY v3
17 images · 11 August 2026

Same SETUPS as the Ember & Altar reference (chapel on a rise, church interior,
person holding the book, family walking to church, devotional still life),
executed so it is ours and not a copy of theirs.

WHAT MAKES v3 OURS — three devices, used consistently

1. THE LANTERN
A warm brass storm lantern is the recurring light source across the set —
on the path, on a windowsill, on the table, in a child's hands, hanging from
a waymarker. Ember uses sunlight and church candles. The lantern is ours:
it is the thing you carry with you, which is the whole point of the book.
It is also on both covers and in the round cover medallion.

2. THE TRAIL (SPOR)
Every outdoor frame has a visible track, path or footprints. Our brand is
   literally named after it. In Ember's imagery the path is incidental scenery;
here it is the subject, and it always leads somewhere.

3. THE KIRKESKIB
The votive model ship hanging from the vault, a real and very Danish church
tradition. It appears in the interior, the altar shot and the pew shot.
Instantly reads as Denmark and never as American church stock.

Plus the light itself: cool silver-blue Nordic shadows against warm highlights,
rather than the single warm amber wash the reference uses. And Danish locations
throughout — coastal dunes, heather, marram grass, rapeseed, beech, North Sea
sky, whitewashed stepped-gable churches with red tile. No cypress. No Tuscany.

NOTES FOR THE TEAM
  · Both covers carry the real Fordi titles and the lantern medallion. 09 and 17 show the
real book covers, so nothing needs compositing.
  · 09 and 13 have deliberate empty space for headline text, on opposite sides.
  · 07 and 11 show no faces.
  · v3 runs cooler than the earlier batch. If a placement needs to feel warmer, 06, 10 and
15 are the warmest of the set and will sit next to the older images without clashing.
  · Everything is AI-generated. No real person, church or location is depicted, so there
are no releases to chase — but nothing here should be captioned as a real customer,
a real parish, or a documentary photograph.
